Wednesday, July 17, 2013, human rights lawyers for NSA leaker, Edward Snowden, announced that Snowden may soon be leaving the Russian International Airport that has been home to him for over three weeks by accepting temporary asylum from Russia. Snowden is the former national security agency contractor who leaked classified information to the U.K. newspaper, The Guardian and the Washington Post.
